What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will remove:
- Your account information (name, email, phone number)
- Profile data and preferences
- Event creation history (for organizers)
- Ticket purchase history (for attendees)
Note: Gbaski does not store sensitive payment information. Payment data is handled by our third-party payment processors, and you may need to contact them separately if you wish to delete payment-related data stored on their systems.
Note: Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes, such as transaction records required for financial reporting or fraud prevention.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your data, please:
- Send an email to hello@gbaski.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request"
- Include your registered email address
- Specify which data you want deleted
- We may require identity verification for security purposes
Processing Time
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving a verified request. You will receive confirmation once your data has been deleted.
Important Considerations
- Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to all event history and ticket information
- If you're an event organizer, active events may need to be transferred or cancelled
- Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes
Alternative Options
Before requesting full deletion, consider:
- Updating your account settings to limit data collection
- Unsubscribing from marketing emails
- Deactivating your account temporarily
